Happy Winter Solstice Angella,
Today is a good time to reflect on the light and the shadow side of your business.
What isn’t working?
What do you really want to shine the light on for 2014?
More purpose, more money, more ideal clients?
What about more easy and grace? More money with meaning? More clients who are amazing to work with? More travel and fun?
Take a moment and set your intention of what you want.
Write it down and use this technique: write it down in the present tense as if you already have it.
I’ve been thinking a lot about how to have big dreams and not apologizing for it.
If you’ve been on my list for a while, you may recall an article I wrote about the one phrase that women say that diminishes their dreams instantly.
It’s not “I’m not enough,” or “I’m wrong,” or even “I’m right.”
It’s “I’m sorry.”
I’m not talking about when you legitimately mean it and you are apologizing, I mean when it prefaces simple questions like “I’m sorry, can you tell me the time.” “I’m sorry, I have a question about this item.”
Will you say “Yes” when it really matters?
Last week was a roller coaster of emotions. A close family friend passed away in a train accident last week; Larry person was a father figure to me.
To say that I’ve been devastated is true along with also having some of the most surreal experiences that have activated my gratitude and purpose on the planet to a whole other level.
I was asked to speak at Larry’s funeral. It changed me forever.
As someone who loves words, how could I pair down Larry’s life and the impact he has had on me in ten minutes or less?
