You are not your modality

You are not your modality

What do you do? Those four words put soulpreneurs into their head and out of their magic faster than you can even finish asking the question. So let’s play a little game… There are two people who do the exact same thing, but which one would you rather work with? Which one would you engage with? Person A: Imagine in one hour, old beliefs that have been holding you back for years are just gone and now you have space to choose the new beliefs that actually work for you, instead of against you. I help people erase old beliefs from their brain by creating new neuropathways, which are the things in your brain that actually create and hold the beliefs you have. After a one-hour session, people often find that they can sleep better, and even things like anxiety and depression decrease along with creating new beliefs that create the amazing life you are seeking. Person B: I’m an Access Consciousness Bars practitioner, which is a healing modality that applies light touch to pressure points on the head. I do one-hour sessions and you can come to me in my office, or I also do house call visits to make it even easier. SAME exact thing, but the message is totally different. Let’s try another one: Option A: I’m a massage therapist and Reiki practitioner and I love working with women. I believe that everyone can be healed and I love to work with people who are tired of being stressed out and they want inner peace. Option B: When my clients work with me, they integrate their goals in their body...
Quantum leaps don’t happen on the extremes of the pendulum

Quantum leaps don’t happen on the extremes of the pendulum

My old-old-old life: My soul was dying in my corporate life doing the “responsible” thing. (Extreme end of the pendulum.) My old-old life: I attempted to meditate my way to money. It didn’t work. (The other end of the pendulum) My old life: I hustled faster to make money. I made six figures but then I got burned out big time. (Back to the other end of the pendulum.) My new life: I stopped chasing the extremes of the pendulum and stopped long enough to receive what I had actually asked for. I have a growing 6-figure business, BUT more importantly, I love my life. I love my business. I love what I do. I have freedom. (I balance what works and pause long enough to receive.) Instead of chasing the extremes of the pendulum, are you stopping long enough to RECEIVE what you’ve been asking for?  Or are you so busy distracting yourself, that you don’t even recognize that the very things you’ve been asking for are RIGHT HERE, but you don’t even see it? Want to get my four tips to stop the pendulum swing so you actually manifest what you say you want? Scroll down to the video below. See if you can relate with this… My old-old life (pre-2008): I thought I could meditate my way to money. And when it didn’t work, I did a great job of convincing myself that I had a huge money mindset problem and I needed a lot of healing work. So I got buys trying to heal my way to money. I told myself that once I got...
Energetic marketing first. Strategies second.

Energetic marketing first. Strategies second.

Keep people in the question. That was the best advice I ever received when was studying how to be a better coach a decade ago. Then I really learned the power of asking questions, instead of making conclusions about the “right” way to figure out a problem. This principle is not just for expanding your intuition and joy, it’s also ideal for knowing the best strategies for your business. Notice that I didn’t say the “right” strategies, but the BEST strategies for you. After masterminding with some colleagues, one of the topics we were exploring was how to grow a low-cost membership program to 1,000 people. Our first tendency was to go to the traditional marketing strategies we’ve all been taught by the gurus. It’s the way we’ve been trained (brainwashed) as the “right” way to solve this problem. The energy felt heavy. It felt hard. There was no creativity or joy. We were focused on the problem, instead of what my colleague desired, which was to be a contribution to as many people as possible. Then I asked “How does this group of 1,000 people want to be marketed to?” You have an energetic connection to the people you would like to work with. When you connect with them energetically, you will get answers on your next step. It’s easy, inspiring, creative and even fun. So when you are attempting to figure out the right marketing strategies, ask questions instead of trying to figure out the problem. First, there is no problem, there is just invitation to create something different. Will you focus on the perceived problem, or...
{Soulpreneur Sunday} Your Monthly Income Goal Can Be a Trap

{Soulpreneur Sunday} Your Monthly Income Goal Can Be a Trap

If your “marketing plan” often sounds like “how can I make money this month,” then this week’s tip will guide you to create consistent income without the worry. And even if you do have an actual marketing plan, but you aren’t seeing the financial results you would like, then listen up for an easier way. It sounds sexy to have a $10,000 a month income goal, or $5,000 or $20,000. So you get yourself psyched up, you may even tell your coach to add some accountability, and you shoot for the stars. But month after month of not reaching that income goal, your confidence sinks, the bills stack up, and the worry takes over. I used to live in this place regularly. Then I stopped thinking about the money. And every time I do what I’m teaching you in this week’s Soulpreneur Sunday episode, I make more money and most importantly, I make it with ease instead of the hustle that was causing adrenal fatigue among other things. When you aren’t making the money you desire and you set a big monthly goal, you are focusing on the gap (the money you aren’t making). Instead, you want to ask this question and let go over things like low-cost products and programs until you are making a consistent amount of money each month. Get the question in the video below and simplify your money-making...
{Soulpreneur Sunday} Forgetful Manifesting May Work Better

{Soulpreneur Sunday} Forgetful Manifesting May Work Better

If you’re committed, you “make it happen.” Right? Yeah, not so much. You’ve probably been told things like “if you want it bad enough, you’ll make it happen.” So what’s wrong with you when you push, work harder, focus, and do what ever else you can, but it doesn’t happen? Often, as soulpreneurs, we tell ourselves things like: It wasn’t meant to be. I must have more inner work to do. My money mindset keeps screwing up my life (that’s what I told myself for years.) Can you relate? I was talking to a client of mine (who inspires me every time he and I talk) and he used this analogy about manifesting: He’s outdoor enthusiast and when he rides his bike, every time he pushed down hard on the petal, it was easier to lose control. When he stopped pushing so hard, he actually enjoyed the ride. It’s just like manifesting, or actualizing at folks in the Access world like to call it. When you force it, it’s likely to lose control. Or you lose yourself completely in the hustle of making it happen. What if the way to easefully and create and manifest is to just forget about it? Last summer, I really wanted to go to the Ray LaMontagnue concert at Red Butte Gardens in Utah. Ray is one of my favorite artists and Red Butte is this gorgeous outdoor venue for where you can bring your own food and wine. Watching the sunset listening to fabulous music with friends and wine is one of my all-time favorite summer pastimes. Ray rarely tours so tickets sell...
{Soulpreneur Sunday} The trick of your “best and highest good”

{Soulpreneur Sunday} The trick of your “best and highest good”

What do you do when you have a big decision to make in your business? When it’s a decision that could create big opportunities, or it could create the opposite. How do you choose? A fabulous way that Soulpreneurs avoid the decision completely or give their power away in making decisions is by asking, “What is in my best and highest good?” This is something I used to do all of the time. I would have a decision to make and I wouldn’t be sure what to choose. It was usually around something that was scary and also involved money like investing in a coach or signing a contract for one of my events. So I would even get out my pendulum or muscle test and then tune into my higher self and the universe. Then, I would ask the famous question: “Is ______ in my best and highest good?” And my pendulum would swing left to right (meaning no) or the opposite direction, which meant yes. Or I would sway forward or backward and that would be my yes or no. There, my decision was made. Nope – I just simply affirmed my belief system of what I thought was possible. So my answer wasn’t really an answer from my higher self, it was an answer based on my belief system. And THAT is where we get into trouble with asking what’s in our best and highest good. What’s in your best and highest good is a trick question. How? Think about it for a second, isn’t anything and everything for your best and highest good if you...
