The Collective for Creators is where women entrepreneurs gather to create more of what matters.

Our monthly virtual gatherings is where we give life to the projects that light us up, collaborate to create change, and to connect with other established business owners to grow our businesses.

This is where we bring our visions of what’s possible to be expanded, supported, sustained, and held.

We collaborate and contribute to each other because we know there is room for all of us to take up space in the world.

This global community is where we love strategy as much as we love soul and universal principles and we use it all to grow our businesses.

Together, we:

– Grow our visions and profits.

– Contribute by giving back to women-owned businesses.

– Guide ourselves and each other to be greater.

– Create more of what matters in our lives, businesses, and the world.

Welcome to the Collective for Creators.

The Vision:

Why did I create
The Collective for Creators?

In this audio, the founder, Angella Johnson, shares her vision and invites you to co-create a global community that creates real change for our communities while we actively grow our soulful businesses.

I share how the pandemic helped me see that the people who can do something about how businesses are being impacted.

I also reveal what I see the three main problems are for soulful entrepreneurs finding community.

What We Value:

Collaborative Community

We embrace abundance and know that there is plenty for everyone.

We celebrate and commit to creating an inclusive space that celebrates diversity.

Everyone has a unique voice, expertise, and experiences and together, we innovate the way we do business so we  create sustainable growth and and equitable business practices.

We genuinely care about each other’s success and how we impact each other, our communities, and causes we care about.

*Angella Johnson, the founder, is working with a DEI expert to create a truly inclusive and diverse space. This is ongoing work, which we are deeply committed to.

Conscious Creation

Our impact and what we are creating is just as important as how we are creating.

We lead with our intuition.
We love practical strategies and aligned action-taking.

We practice ethical marketing and selling tactics.

We believe that personal development is just as important as growing our business skill sets.

We consciously create our lives, businesses, and communities, and a world that is equitable.

(This is where the soulful and “woo” you AND the business you get to play.)

Contribution

We are a give-back organization that supports women-owned business, with an emphasis on supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ businesses through our contribution fund.

A minimum of 10% of the member monthly dues go to our contribution fund, where every year, active members vote on the projects and businesses to support through scholarships and 0%-interest loans.

Within three years, our goal is to be contributing $30,000++ per month to this fund.

*The founder is working with an expert to ensure that our intention of contributing to BIPOC and LGTBQ business owners is done in an equitable and generative way.

If you’ve never loved the word “networking,” then you’re in the right place.

This is a virtual gathering place (in-person will come later) for elevated conversations around our business and how to make an impact, and co-creating a collaboration-based ecosystem for women entrepreneurs.

We meet once per month virtually and will be forming local chapters with quarterly in-person functions (when it’s safe to do so).

On our virtual gatherings, we meet as one larger group and then break into smaller groups based on the topic we are focusing on that month in our business.

Our virtual gatherings have two parts:

1. The Space to Create:
You’ll have the opportunity to share your intentions and your bigger vision in a safe space as you are deeply seen and witnessed by our Collective members. This puts our bigger visions into motion in a sacred space. Think of it as an innovation incubator – a place where dreams get birthed.

2. Mastermind and Nurturing Relationships:
We go beyond “networking”  where you’ll be in a smaller cohorts and everyone will have a turn to receive support from their small group. You walk away with clarity, questions, connections, and reciprocal support.

You’ll also connect with members through our online forum and through private connection calls with people you want to get to know better.

See the membership details below.

To create genuine relationships and sustainable support, and to ensure that we co-create a community of contribution, membership is 12 months.

This provides the container to co-create beyond “getting” something from each other.

Membership rates are based on where you live and what currency you accept in your business.

For example, if you are based in Canada but you receive all of your payments in your business in the US dollar, you pay the US price.

Member rates are as follows:

– US and Europe: $100 USD per month or $997 for the year

– Canada: $80 USD per month or $797 for the year

– Australia and New Zealand: $70 USD per month or $697 for the year

Membership includes access to all virtual meetings along with member pricing for local in-person chapter meetings, the annual conference, and the annual retreat, which are anticipated to be in 2021.

Your membership includes:

  • Welcome gift
  • An online community forum that is not on Facebook
  • Member pricing for business services (coming in winter 2020)
  • Semi-annual gift in the mail because who doesn’t love to receive something fun and beautiful in the mail?!
  • Special member rates to our in-person functions: (when it’s safe to meet in-person)
    – Local chapter meetings
    – Annual 3-day conference, which is a pitch-free event that is dedicated to quality content and nourishing relationships. (Tentative location: Seattle, WA, USA)
    – Annual retreat to a gorgeous location for masterminding, member-led workshops, pampering. (Tentative location for first retreat: Bali, Indonesia.)

This is great for you if, you:

  • Have an established business and it’s at least three years old.
  • Value reciprocity and generosity.
  • Embody collaboration and love to see people win.
  • Believe in abundance where there is plenty for everyone.
  • Are here to co-create and contribute vs get something from people.
  • Know that you create your reality and use tools and universal laws to consciously create it.
  • Love to give back to causes you believe in.
  • Are a stand for equity and social justice and support all people, including BIPOC and LGTBQ+ communities.
  • Are excited to innovate the way we collectively do business.
  • Are open to inviting at least one other person who you would love to co-create with as part of this community. This is not mandatory and it’s not mandatory that they join. We believe you’ll love this community and will be excited to share it with people. Additionally, this co-creation keeps our marketing costs low so we can contribute more of the membership dues to our Contribution Fund.
  • Are willing to set aside approximately three hours per month to attend our monthly call + to build relationships with other members through our online forum and through personal outreach.

Q & A

What if I'm not sure about joining for 12 months. That seems like a long time.

If you like the energy of what we’re creating here, I invite you to tune into how you want to build relationships with other entrepreneurs? If you’re open to engaging with amazing people around the world, then apply and in your application, notate that you would like to book a 15-minute chat with me and we’ll make sure it’s a good fit.

What are the local chapter meetings?

As The Collective for Creators grows, the vision is to facilitate bi-annual local chapter meetings for in-person meetings. The two things that will make this happen is to grow membership to warrant the in-person gatherings and to make sure we can do so in a safe manner with Covid.

It’s anticipated that in-person local chapter meetings will commence in the fall of 2021 after we get a good rhythm going and see organic growth within the organization.

This also means there are leadership opportunities for members to spearhead local chapters and since it’s not monthly meetings, it’s sustainable and you’ll have the chance to have your business highlighted.

Tell me about this annual retreat!

As a member, you have the opportunity to attend our annual retreat where you will learn from experts, be highlighted as an expert, build relationships, enjoy delish food, and receive some pampering.

The first retreat is tentative for 2021 in Bali, Indonesia. More details will be announced as we are able to travel safely.

Is this only for women?

Yes, this is for women only. This includes transgender and non-binary womxn.

Can I provide services to members of The Collective?

No one likes to be spammed or aggressively persued to buy services.

As you build relationships with members of The Collective, people will naturally reach out to you to hire directly and for referrals.

Members can also submit their services to be included in the member benefits, which provides members with special member-pricing. Once you are a member, you can inquire about getting your services listed on the member benefits.

I love this but I'm new to business, can I still join?

I’m so happy that you love this. This is for seasoned entrepreneurs because we want to have conversations beyond the basics of getting started in business.

If you are looking for a similar community, but to assist with more foundational principles of building your business, the Intuitive Marketing Essentials program may be a better fit for you.

If you are a newer business, but you have a good foundation and a naturally connector and collaborator, but you haven’t quite reached that 3-year mark, apply to be a member and we’ll have a conversation to make sure this is a good fit.

How do I connect with people outside of the monthly gatherings?

There is an online forum, which has a member directory. this is where you can ask questions, ask for and give support, as well as connect with other members.

This is not a Facebook group but a private online forum.

How many members are there? Will I get lost in a big group?

This is a brand new community and as we get started, we’ll see growth from various areas in the world.

Even as the group grows, there are plans to hire additional team as needed as well as meeting in small intimate cohorts within the organization.

What are the monthly meetings like?

The monthly meeting is 90 minutes and it’s virtual through Zoom.

After a brief welcome and check-in with the community, we’ll then move into small groups:

The first part of the call with your small group is to speak your intentions into a safe space. You will receive facilitation for this portion to ensure a safe space where you can share the work that really lights you up. This is a powerful practice and when done in community, it has a way of speeding up our manifestations.

The second part of the call is a mastermind where each person will have an allotted time to receive feedback from the group about the topic they bring to the group.

After we meet in small groups, we’ll all come back to the main group for celebrations and any announcements.

Tell me more about the Contribution Fund. Where does this money go?

Every year, there will be an application process for businesses to apply to receive funds from our Contribution Fund. We reach out to marginalized communities to make sure that we are creating equitable give-back. There are two ways for companies to receive funds: Our 0% loans that will be paid back over five years, which will regenerate our Contribution fun, and through scholarships/grants.

The founder, Angella Johnson, is working closely with her accountant to ensure these accounts are set up properly and for maximum benefit and to provide total transparency with the fund amounts. A separate bank account has already been set up and to start with, 10% of the member dues (after payment processing fees) will be put into that account.

Once a year, active members will vote on the projects that get funded. This first voting round is scheduled for fall 2021.

What about the annual conference?

While virtual gatherings are great, there is nothing like being in the room with other soulpreneurs who are creating big things in their businesses and in the world.

Every year (when it’s safe to meet in person), we will gather together for three days for training, masterminding, collaborations, and FUN!

This is a pitch-free, sponsor-free event and speakers are curated from the attendees. In other words, speakers who aren’t a part of our community will be speaking. YOU will be speaking. There is an application process and the reason why the event is set up this way is this:
We feature the people who are already invested in creating this community with us.

And frankly, aren’t we tired of “conferences” that are simply sales pitch after sales pitch.

There is another way to create incredible live events and this format is an exceptional way to do that.

Is there an income requirement to join?

No, there is not. Rather, this is for established business owners who have been in business for a minimum of three years.

Having an income requirement creates a hierarchy and eliminates valid life and business experience from being shared in the collective.

What does my membership include?

What are the monthly costs? Can I pay annually?

Membership rates are based on where you live and what currency you accept in your business.

For example, if you are based in Canada but you receive all of your payments in your business in the US dollar, you pay the US price.

Member rates are as follows:

US and Europe: $100 USD per month or $997 for the year

Canada: $80 USD per month or $797 for the year

Australia and New Zealand: $70 USD per month or $697 for the year

Membership is for 12 months.

12 months feels so long with all of the uncertainties in the world. I'm not sure I want to commit that long.

I totally hear you. So much as changed in a short period of time.

Part of the reason why this is a 12-month membership is to create a space for you to be human in all of these changes and be supported by a community that gets it.

Consciously creating growth in our businesses and to make a lasting change, takes time. And The Collective for Creators is a place to create sustainable change.

I encourage you to lean in for deeper support and utilize this time to connect with people around the world.

When are the monthly meetings?

The Collective for Creators will have our first gathering in September 2020.

The meetings are scheduled for the third Wednesday of the month from 10-11:30 am Pacific / 1-2:30 pm Eastern.

As the group grows and we have people joining in Australasia, there will be a second meeting time on the third Thursday at 9 am Sydney time.

One of my superpowers is gathering amazing people and creating transformational spaces.

Since the first women’s conference I hosted in 2009, I know that when we empower women, we change our communities.

When we change our communities, we dismantle oppressive systems. It’s also how we create a future where equity, sustainability, full expression, joy, and abundance are the norm for everyone.

I had the vision for The Collective in 2019 after I did some deep soul searching about what I wanted to create in the world that supported women, created real change, and gave back to women entrepreneurs.

During the early stages of the pandemic this year, I saw government bail out corporations. I saw resources for art programs, after-school programs, schools, and artists dwindle. I saw domestic violence skyrocket. I saw really great businesses and people deeply affected, some of whom may never bounce back. We are seeing this continue.

The whole time I’ve been thinking, “There is no reason this should be happening. We have the ability to help each other. We can do something about this. Who’s doing something about this?”

Turns out, that someone is me. And you. It’s us.

The final piece to The Collective that I was waiting for was the give-back element and that’s when the Contribution fund was born.

I know when committed women gather, we create change.

When we make great money doing work we love, we can make even bigger changes.

Lastly, for years, I’ve seen the gap for spiritual women who are also seasoned business owners committed to creating great money. Where do we fit in?

I saw three problems for Soulpreneurs to find community:

1. Traditional networking groups have no idea what to do with our soulful nature.

2. Spiritual groups often resist making really great money.

3. In order to meet other entrepreneurs, we are often encouraged to join high-end masterminds, which are really just group coaching programs focused on making one person (the coach) money and there’s really not any masterminding. Once you stop paying for the high-end program, you’re cut off from the community.

My curiosity was this:
How can we create amazing relationships with people around the world who value:

  • Business growth and making great money
  • Spirituality and using universal laws to manifest
  • Equity and social justice
  • Personal growth and a commitment to our inner work
  • Giving back and creating real change

I couldn’t find such a community. So I do what I do best, I create what doesn’t exist yet and invite people to co-create something incredible with me.

I look forward to meeting you and contributing to your vision. I look forward to creating with you.

In Grace and Gratitude,
