Have you had the moment when your glorious business or marketing plan either bores you to tears or is just doesn’t work?

The thing that you are trying to get to work is what you’ve done before in your business. You KNOW how to do this… yet, something is off.

Perhaps it’s trying to follow one of the proven formulas by the experts and it just falls flat. Or you just can’t muster up the focus and motivation to follow through with it.

Either way, it’s frustrating right? Especially when you need to make some money, honey!

I’ve been in a space similar to this since March. Something has just been ever-so-slightly “off” and I couldn’t put my finger on it.

I kept asking what to DO and kept getting the answer of “create more space.” “Let go of anything that doesn’t you utter joy. Stop the DOing and things will show up – but there has to be space for it to show up.”

When this type of thing would happen years ago, my coaches at the time would tell me to be “coachable and push through the fear.”

(Um, it wasn’t fear, it was a misalignment and you can only FORCE misalignment for so long before it bites you in the ass.)

The result when you force it is often dismal profits, disappointment, and usually burned out adrenals to go along with it (for me anyway).

NOW, I honor these times as the invitation to pause and take a breath.

My favorite question to ask during these times of transitioning my business model is,
“Is this the change I’ve been asking for?”

When you ask this question, you’ll sense a true/false or heavy/light.

Every time I asked, I got a yes – it WAS the change I’ve been asking for.

So was there a “problem?” Or was this S-P-A-C-E?
(This is super helpful to stop freaking out about the unknown and recognize that the universe is simply maneuvering things on my behalf.)

The universe always has our back.

This question and the awareness that comes along with it, immediately shifts the energy of putting you into choice and out of unconscious/conscious victim energy.

The Space Between
(when you realize this IS what you’ve been asking for)

A funny thing happens when you ask for change and it shows up in a way that you didn’t expect.

There is the space of “the way it was before” and “the way it’s going to be.”
But you don’t know how it’s going to be YET.

It’s unfamiliar and uncomfortable. And surprisingly exciting and peaceful if you stop creating it to be a problem.

It’s really tempting to fill that space with what you know from your past. But here’s the pitfall with that – it doesn’t create the FUTURE you desire.

So pause. Breathe. BE in the space between.

That space is beckoning a future that is beyond anything you’ve thought possible. What if your only “job” is to allow it and keep trusting?

Here are some of my favorite questions to ask to shift the energy and consciously create vs going into default and hustling to figure it out and “make it happen:”

Is this the change that I’ve been asking for?

If I trusted myself, what would I choose here?

What energy, space, and consciousness can I BE to have this turn out better than I’ve ever thought possible?

What would it take for ______ (what ever your desire is) to show up right away as if by magic?

I wonder how much fun I can have with this space and what I’ll create now?

Questions have been used to create possibilities of magnitude by a lot of brilliant minds, including Einstein.

“It’s not that I’m so smart, but I stay with the questions much longer.” ~Albert Einstein

“If I had an hour to solve a problem and my life depended on the solution, I would spend the first 55 minutes determining the proper question to ask for once I know the proper question, I could solve the problem in less than five minutes.” ~Albert Einstein

There are a lot of coaches who give you the answers, which isn’t actually coaching, but let’s not get into the semantics of that right now.

What could show up if you asked your clients more questions? If you asked yourself more questions?

You know your answers.
You are more wise than you think.
You are more brilliant than you give yourself credit for.
And you’ve totally got this.

If you are in this space that I’ve talked about here, breathe. Enjoy the pause. Know that EVERYTHING is coming together FOR you in ways you’ve never imagined.

Keep going. Enjoying the space and the pause, is different than quitting or stopping. The difference is your willingness to follow the energy and take action the moment it’s time to move. You’ll know when it’s time. Trust.

Have a Great Weekend,
Angella

P.S. Two free trainings coming up so watch your inbox for the details:

I’ll be offering a free resource on the power of questions and how they can change your business and bank account so watch for that.

Second, I’ll be giving a free workshop about messaging and creating a compelling message that expresses ALL of who you are, not just the elevator pitch you’re supposed to have. Elevator pitch messages are dead and oh-so-boring. Details coming next week!
